In the month filled with new smartphone launches, Vivo is also gearing up to launch the Vivo T5x 5G in India, which is scheduled to launch on March 17, 2026, at 12 PM IST.
The Vivo T5x will be a successor to the T4x, which was launched in March 2025. This mid-range smartphone targets everyday users who need reliable performance and good battery life at an affordable price range.

Vivo T5x Specifications
The Vivo T5x carries a large 6.72-inch IPS LCD panel with a refresh rate up to 120Hz and peak brightness hitting 2,000 nits. This Vivo smartphone will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo and will be paired with 6GB/8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
Other than that, the T5x also features Vivo’s cooling system, including a large vapor chamber, designed to keep temperatures under control during intensive use.
One important highlight is the large 7,200mAh silicon-carbon battery with 44W FlashCharge support, plus reverse wired charging support.
The expected dual camera setup will include a 50MP Sony IMX882 or IMX852 main sensor paired with an auxiliary 2MP depth sensor. For the video recording, it is capable of recording 4K@30fps and 1080p@30fps.
On the front is a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls. Additionally, AI features like portrait enhancement and night mode make it a good option for content creators.
The Vivo T5x is expected to run OriginOS 6, based on Android 16. Additional features include dual stereo speakers, an IR blaster for remote control, and 5G support across India.

Pricing and Availability
While the Vivo T5x’s price has not yet been announced, prices are expected to be as such,
- INR 19,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant
- INR 21,999 for the 8GB+128 GB variant
- INR 23,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant.
The Vivo T5x will launch exclusively on Flipkart, Vivo’s e-store, on March 17, 2026. It’s worth noting that the Poco X8 Pro Max series will also launch on the same day.
