POCO M8 Pro 5G Leaks Reveal Dimensity 7300 Ultra and Massive Battery at Shocking Price

POCO is ready to hit the budget market with the new POCO M8 Pro 5G, with some fresh leaks from the FCC and IMEI databases confirming a global and India launch. The device will possibly launch around January 2026 and is expected to be under the INR 20,000 price range.

POCO M8 Pro Specifications (Rumoured)

The display of the POCO M8 Pro is expected to be a 6.67-inch IPS LCD screen with a refresh rate up to 120Hz, coupled with a Full HD+ resolution at 396ppi and up to 1300 nits of peak brightness. 

Further, the camera is rumoured to be a rear triple camera setup, including a 50MP main lens, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro lens, and supported by HDR and LED flash for low-light photography. On the front, the camera is expected to have a 16MP lens.

When it comes to the processor, the POCO M8 Pro is rumoured to have the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra under the hood and backed by 12GB RAM and 512GB storage options. 

As per the FCC lists, the battery capacity will be 6,330mAh (likely to be marketed as 6,500mAh) with fast charging support expected to be more than 65W. Last but not least, the device will run Android 15 with HyperOS 2, have dual SIM 5G support, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and an in-display optical fingerprint scanner. The phone will have a 3.5mm jack with a hybrid microSD slot up to 1TB.

POCO is placing the M8 Pro against budget 5G smartphones like Realme P4x, which is priced at INR 15,499, and the Moto G67 Power, priced at INR 17,999.  That said, the POCO M8 Pro price in India will be around INR 17,000-INR 18,000.
