Xiaomi’s Ultra line has been popular and all for the right reasons, especially the great cameras. And the new Xiaomi Ultra 17 has recently been rumoured to launch by the end of 2025 or early 2026. Though it has not been officially announced but there are rumours about the specifications of the device.

Xiaomi 17 Ultra Specifications
The Xiaomi Ultra 17 is expected to feature a 6.9-inch 2K OLED flat display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. The display is rumoured to be accompanied by the Xiaomi Shield Glass 2.0 and features a peak brightness of up to 5000 nits.
The device is rumoured to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The chipset will be paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage.
The Xiaomi Ultra 17 will run the latest Android 16 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 custom skin. The device is rumoured to pack a massive 7,000mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging and 80W wireless charging support.
The camera technology on the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is expected to be a quad-camera setup that will include three 50MP sensors, including an OmniVision OV50X main camera, an ultra-wide lens, and a telephoto lens paired with a 200MP periscope telephoto lens for high-powered zoom. The front camera is said to be a 32MP lens with autofocus and 4K video recording support.
Some additional features will include the IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, stereo speaker with Dolby Atmos support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, infrared blaster, and a robust set of sensors. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra’s design reportedly embraces a professional camera look with a bezel-less Silver Chrome finish, emphasising its photography focus.
