Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: Release Timeline

Looking at Samsung’s timeline of launching the Galaxy S series, every year it was expected that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra would be released in January or early February 2026. But as mentioned above, the release has been pushed to late February with the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event, and still, there is no official confirmation regarding the release date.

Rumours and leaks have suggested that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra can be released in late February 2026, and sales can begin in early March 2026.

Our Big Question

So, for the Samsung fans, a question arises — when will Samsung start providing a big battery? Samsung is still sticking with a 5000mAh battery for a smartphone that will cost more than INR 1,00,000, and if you ask me, it does not feel justified. Other smartphone makers are upgrading aggressively to bigger batteries and higher charging capacities.

Perhaps Samsung is cautious about taking a bold step and risking the Galaxy S series’ legacy, which may be why they have not upgraded the battery. But if you ask me, this might have been the right time for Samsung to consider a larger battery for such a premium device.
