Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Launched: Pricing and Specifications

After months of anticipation, Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy S26 series at its Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event. Pre-orders are now live, and the devices will go on sale starting March 11, 2026.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Series includes three phones — Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. All these phones have been priced a bit higher than their predecessors.

However, if you were expecting the same pricing as last year, there is a small surprise. All three phones are more expensive than their predecessors.

Display 

In terms of display, the Samsung Galaxy S26 features a 6.3-inch FHD+ display, and the Galaxy S26+ offers a larger 6.7-inch QHD+ display. At the top of the lineup, the Galaxy S26 Ultra features a 6.9-inch QHD+ M14 OLED with Vision Booster and peak brightness of up to 2600 nits.

Apart from the display specifications, the phones come with a few notable additions, such as ProScaler, which is designed to sharpen images. The higher variant debuts a pixel-level Privacy Display that restricts side viewing angles for sensitive apps such as banking, without the need for a separate privacy film.

Performance and Battery 

On the performance side, the Samsung Galaxy S26 and Samsung Galaxy S26+ are powered by the Exynos 2600, built on a 2 nm process. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra goes the Snapdragon route, featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.

Additionally, all models in the Samsung Galaxy S26 series come with redesigned vapor chambers for improved cooling. The lineup also offers 12GB RAM as standard, along with UFS 4.0 storage options going up to 1TB.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 is backed by a 4300 mAh battery with 25 W charging support. The Samsung Galaxy S26+ packs a 4900 mAh battery with 45 W charging support. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra comes with a 5000 mAh battery, supporting 60 W wired and 15 W wireless charging.

Camera

Let us praise Samsung where they deserve it. The camera specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Series do sound promising on paper.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ pack a rear triple camera setup. This includes a 50 MP wide angle lens, a 10 MP telephoto lens, and a 12 MP ultrawide lens. On the front, both models come with a 12 MP camera for selfies and video calls

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, however, takes things a step further with a quad rear camera system. It houses a 200 MP wide angle lens, a 10 MP telephoto lens, a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 50 MP ultrawide lens.
