Launch season is officially here, with OnePlus gearing up to introduce two new devices — the Pad Go 2 and the OnePlus 15R. With this launch, expected on 17 December 2025 in India, the brand is positioning it as a more capable mid-range tablet.
While the full specifications have not been revealed yet, let us take a look at some of the leaked OnePlus Pad Go 2 specifications.
OnePlus Pad Go 2 Specs
OnePlus Pad Go 2 is expected to have a comfortable mid-sized LCD panel that will be aimed towards students and casual users, though the exact size and resolution have not been officially released. That said, some teasers and reports suggest that this mid-range tablet is expected to have a relatively thick but uniform bezel, an anti-glare glass finish, and dual speakers along the bottom edge. It will also have a single rear camera.
At the same time, some of the leaks also suggest that the OnePlus Pad Go 2 is expected to pack a mid-range MediaTek chipset. This is aimed at providing steady media and light gaming rather than the flagship-class power.
A big change is on the connectivity front, with multiple reports and an FCC listing confirming that one of the variants of the OnePlus Pad Go 2 will support full 5G networks alongside Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, and standard 4 G.
The OnePlus Pad Go 2 tablet is rumoured to pack 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, though it is not yet clear if lower variants will be sold.
Other than that, the leaks also suggest that the battery size could be a 7000mAh battery cell, and is basically designed for long study or streaming sessions. It could be paired with fast charging, but the exact wattage has not been confirmed yet.
On the software front, the OnePlus Pad Go 2 is expected to feature OxygenOS based on Android 16, along with some new AI features.
One of the nifty updates is the inclusion of a stylus. The OnePlus Pad Go 2 Stylo will be a generational upgrade with native stylus support, which is claimed to offer 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity for writing and drawing. OnePlus is aiming to make this Pad Go line from a pure budget tablet into a serious study and light work companion while keeping the focus on value.

The OnePlus Pad Go 2 Price in India is expected to be under the INR 20,000 price range. However, we will have confirmations on the date of launch. The Pad GO 2 can be a competitor for Samsung’s upcoming budget-friendly tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+, which is also expected to fall under the 20K price range.
