iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya recently teased the design of the company’s new iQOO 15R via a tweet. The tweet features a tagline, “Power that fits just right.” At the same time, the phone’s rear design was also teased, which showed a dual camera setup and a checkered pattern.
Based on the design teasers, the iQOO 15R appears to be a compact yet powerful device. Going by these visuals, the iQOO 15R’s India launch seems imminent.

On the display front, the iQOO 15R is expected to feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display with a refresh rate up to 144Hz.
If we were to believe the tagline shared via the tweet, we can expect this IQOO phone to be battery-focused. In fact, it is expected to feature a 7,600mAh battery with 100W wired charging support. Interestingly, IQOO has also claimed that this 5G smartphone will come with a 6.5K IceCore VC cooling system.
The iQOO 15R is rumoured to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, and expected to run Android 16.
The camera setup is a key highlight, as the rear camera setup features a 200MP primary wide-angle sensor combined with an 8MP ultra-wide lens, which is rare for the expected price range. The primary camera is expected to have a Sony LYT-700V OIS sensor. On the front is a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls.
The iQOO 15R sports a checkered back, a flat metal frame, and rounded corners, hinting at a compact version of the iQOO 15.
