After a week of teasing, Nothing has launched its (4a) Series on March 5, 2026. The series will consist of two models — Nothing Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro.
The Nothing (4a) series is expected to deliver fresh design, strong performance, and long battery life, positioning it to compete in the mid-range market.

Nothing Phone (4a) Specifications
The Nothing Phone (4a) will feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a refresh rate up to 120Hz. As for the processor, it features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, which is paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It runs Nothing OS based on Android 16.

One of the most signature elements in the Nothing (4a) is the cool Glyph Bar lighting interface on the back. This LED bar gives the phone a distinctive look and, at the same time, makes notifications more fun and visually engaging.
The Nothing Phone (4a)’s camera setup features a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP periscope lens, and an 8MP ultrawide lens. On the front is a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls.

Now, this can be a bit disappointing. This new smartphone comes with just a 5,400mAh battery with 50W fast charging support. It’s worth noting that rivals are offering 7000mAh batteries in a much lower price range.

Nothing Phone (4a) Pro Specifications
The Nothing Phone (4a) Pro packs a slightly larger display with a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a slightly higher refresh rate up to 144Hz. It has an upgrade in terms of processor speed and has the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip under the hood. This configuration is further paired with 8GB/12GB RAM options and up to 256GB storage.

That said, you get the same triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main lens, 50MP periscope telephoto, and an 8MP ultrawide lens. On the front is the same 32MP selfie camera.
The battery is the same as the base variant, a 5,400mAh battery with 50W charging.
The Nothing Phone (4a) Pro also features an upgraded Glyph Matrix. It is a much larger grid of about mini‑LEDs that shows pixel‑style animations, battery status, timers, among others.
Nothing Headphone (a)
Other than the Nothing Phone (4a) series, Nothing has also launched new over-ear Headphones (a) that weigh just 310g with soft memory foam cushions.
Some key features include Adaptive ANC that adjusts to your surroundings, three-mic ENC for clear calls, and Static Spatial Audio for immersive sound.
Additionally, the controls are unique, with a roller for volume, a paddle for switching modes, and a button for track skipping or even serving as a remote camera shutter.

Is It Worth Buying the Nothing Phone (4a)?
On the specifications front, the Phone 4a Series offers solid overall specs, but the main concern could be the battery backup, which is limited to a 5,400mAh unit. So if you are someone who wants a high-specification phone and does not place much importance on battery life, this could still be a good option.
However, in this price range, phones like the Poco X6 and the Redmi Note 14 Pro could give the Phone 4a Series some tough competition.
