Following the launch of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor series for smartphones and the Snapdragon X2 Elite and Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme platform for laptops, Qualcomm has once again announced another series of laptop Processors.
Aptly named Snapdragon X2 Plus, the platform targets more affordable Windows 11 Copilot+ laptops and will succeed the Snapdragon X2 lineup.

Snapdragon X2 Plus: Specifications
The Snapdragon X2 Plus is a 3nm processor built on the third-generation Oryon CPU and paired with a Hexagon NPU and an X2-45 GPU. It is available in two configurations: 10-core and 6-core. The NPU delivers up to 80 TOPS (trillions of operations per second) and, according to Qualcomm, is the fastest in a laptop.
Both configurations use the same X2-45 GPU but operate at different clock speeds. The 10-core variant is clocked at up to 1.7GHz, while the 6-core version runs at 900MHz. It is also worth noting that both configurations support LPDDR5X RAM.
When it comes to connectivity, the Snapdragon X2 Plus supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, optional 5G, and up to 128GB of RAM.
