Realme is set to launch the Realme Neo8 in China on January 22, 2026. The device’s specifications suggest a gaming phone with a high refresh rate and a large battery. The Neo8 is a successor of the Neo7, which was launched on December 11, 2024.

Realme Neo8 Specifications
The display will be a 6.68-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a refresh rate up to 165Hz, HDR, and peak brightness up to 6000 nits from Samsung’s M14 OLED.
As for the processor, Realme Neo8 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, combined with an octa-core CPU (up to 3.8GHz Oryon cores) and Adreno 840 GPU with an AnTuTu score above 3.5 million.
RAM options include 12/16/24GB RAM with 256/512GB/1TB UFS 4.1 storage. Other than that, the Magic Touch chip enables 3800Hz sampling for responsive gaming.
On the camera front, a rear triple camera setup combining a 50MP main lens, 50MP telephoto lens (3.5x optical zoom, OIS), and an 8MP ultrawide lens, with 4K@60fps video support supported by a color spectrum sensor.
On the front, there is a 16MP lens for selfies and video calls. If we talk about the audio, there are stereo speakers, 24-bit/192kHz Hi-Res, and there is no 3.5mm jack.
The main highlight of the device is a massive 8000mAh silicon-carbon battery with 80W wired charging support. Realme Neo8 runs Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0, with an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint, gyro, and more sensors.
Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, infrared port, and USB Type-C 2.0. In addition to that, the device is rated IP68/IP69 for water and dust resistance.
