Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco is planning to launch the Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max. Recent certifications on the TDRA database and teasers from Xiaomi signal towards the release, likely in late March 2026.

The Poco X8 Pro is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra, built on a 4nm process, an octa-core chip with a prime Cortex-A725 core at 3.4GHz.
The Pro Max is expected to be powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 9500s, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage (256GB/512GB options).
Battery
The Poco X8 Pro features a 7,560mAh silicon-carbon battery with 100W wired charging and 27W reverse wired charging support.
The higher variant is expected to feature a larger 8500-9000mAh battery with the same 100W wired charging support.
Display
On the display front, the Poco X8 Pro features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, with a refresh rate up to 120Hz and peak brightness up to 3500 nits.
On the other hand, the Poco X8 Pro Max features a larger 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, with a refresh rate up to 120Hz. You can also expect Dolby Vision and HDR10+.
Camera
Camera specifications are rumoured to be a dual-rear camera setup with a 50MP main lens combined with an 8MP ultrawide lens on the Pro variant, with Rumours of an upgraded 50MP secondary lens on the Pro Max variant.
On the front, it is expected to be a 20-32MP camera for selfies. Video hits 4K@60fps with gyro-EIS.
Software and Extras
Both smartphones are expected to run HyperOS 3 based on Android 16. Extras include stereo speakers, Hi-Res audio, IR blaster, and NFC.
