November is gearing up to be a packed month for flagship launches, and amid all the big reveals, Xiaomi is also gearing up to launch the POCO F8 series. The series will feature two smartphones, the POCO F8 Pro and POCO F8 Ultra. These models are the international variants of the Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro Max.
The POCO F8 series is set for the global launch on November 26, 2025, and one more highlight of this device will be that it will feature the HyperOS 3, the next-generation OS based on Android 16.
POCO F8 Series Features
The Poco F8 series will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The chipset is expected to improve efficiency and overall performance. The company is expecting this series to provide these features in a premium mid-range segment.
If we talk about the design, both the smartphones closely resemble their Chinese counterparts. The POCO F8 Ultra will include Sound by Bose technology for refined audio precision for a premium sound quality experience, which is inherited from the Chinese counterpart, the Redmi K90 Pro Max.
The POCO F8 series will feature the HyperOS 3, based on Android 16, with the software being pre-installed across all regions. The series marks one of the earliest global adoptions of the new operating system. As per the company, this software integration will bring a polished, next-generation user experience with improved thermal efficiency.
For charging, the F8 series supports 100W fast charging, allowing quick battery top-ups to keep pace with active users’ demands. This, combined with the Snapdragon 8 Elite’s efficiency and HyperOS 3’s optimizations, aims to deliver a smooth and enduring performance experience.
As for the battery, we only know that the F8 series will support 100W fast charging for now. Xiaomi has not officially revealed the specifications, but it is expected that the features will be the same as the Chinese counterparts, the Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro Max.
