
The Lava Agni 4 India launch is expected on November 20. The device is known to be the successor of the Agni 3 and is rumoured to have some incremental updates. Although Lava has not officially announced the specifications yet, let us look at the expected features from the rumours.
Lava Agni 4 Expected Specifications
The Agni 4 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, along with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
The Agni 4 comes with a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, and it is rumoured that they have ditched the secondary display that was on the Agni 3. As per the rumours, camera-wise, there is a 50MP main sensor with OIS. We still don’t have confirmed information about the front camera.
At the same time, the battery is expected to be around 7,000mAh, which is a lot more than Agni 3. The previous variant had a 5,000mAh cell. Up next, the fast charging support is between 70W and 80W, however, it’s still not confirmed by official sources. The phone also comes with IP69 water and dust resistance.
The Agni 4 is expected to come with Android 15 and with a three-year OS update and four years of security patches. The Lava Agni 4 price in India is likely to be in the INR 25,000 price range.
What’s New: Lave Agni 4 vs Agni 3
The Lava Agni 3 was launched in October 2024 and was introduced with a 5,000mAh battery and 66W charging support. As such, the Agni 4 is expected to pack a bigger 7,000mAh battery with 80W charging support. Both devices share the same 6.78-inch AMOLED display.
The main upgrade for the Agni 4 is that it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350. The Agni 3 was powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X. The water resistance is expected to upgrade from IP64 to IP69. Overall, Lava has given a processor update, which is followed by a large battery, so a good performance can be expected at an affordable price range.
