The upcoming device is packed with high-end specifications, powerful performance hardware, and cutting-edge design innovations. Realme also announced that the Indian and Chinese variants will have the same specifications. Let us take a quick look at what the GT 8 Pro has to offer.
Realme GT 8 Pro Specs
The GT 8 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, and will be paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The phone will feature a 6.79-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, with peak brightness levels reaching 7000 nits.

The device will also be powered by a 7,000mAh battery and will support up to 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. Other than that, it also includes reverse wireless charging for charging smaller gadgets on the move.
The Realme GT 8 Pro will have a triple rear camera setup, and will comprise a 200MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical and 6x lossless zoom, a 50MP OIS-enabled main sensor, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. This partnership is expected to provide better camera aesthetics with Ricoh’s GR and film-like color profiles for enhancing mobile photography. On the front, there is a 32MP camera for selfies.
Design-wise, Realme is introducing an innovative switchable and removable camera bump, allowing users to customize their phone’s rear module with different textures and styles. The Urban Blue variant uses recycled materials, adding a sustainable touch to the build.

Running on Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16, multimedia performance on the GT 8 Pro is expected to get a boost with Dolby Vision support, dual stereo speakers, and advanced haptics.
Realme is providing a large vapor cooling system that ensures consistent thermal management during heavy use. The connectivity options include 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and an IP69 rating, making the device robust and ready for all environments.

As the Realme GT 8 Pro is set to launch in India on November 20, Lava is also stepping into the game and is set to launch the Lava Agni 4 on the same date. The Agni 4 will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset. It remains to be seen how the Realme GT 8 Pro and the Lava Agni 4 will perform in the market.
