After launching the OPPO Reno 14 series in July 2025, OPPO has launched the Reno 15 series on January 8, 2026 in India. This phone comes after the release of the company’s flagship OPPO X9 Pro series in India.
The OPPO Reno 15 series will consist of 3 phones — the Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, and Reno 15 Pro Mini.

OPPO Reno 15 Series: Specifications
The OPPO Reno 15 offers a 6.32-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3600nits peak brightness. The Pro version offers a slightly larger 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3600nits peak brightness. The Reno 15 Pro Mini offers the same 6.32-inch AMOLED display with the same refresh rate as the other two variants.
One thing common to both the OPPO Reno 15 Pro and Reno 15 Pro Mini is that they feature the same MediaTek Dimensity 8450 processor. It’s an octa-core 4nm chipset with a 3.25 GHz Prime core and a Mali-G720 GPU. The RAM support will be up to 16GB.
But here is the twist: The base model, Reno 15, is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, which is a major change observed in the Reno 15 Series.
When it comes to the camera, both the Pro Models feature the same rear triple camera setup — 200MP main lens, with a 50MP telephoto lens and 50MP ultrawide lens. The front shooter will be a 50MP lens for video calls and selfies.
The base model features an 8MP ultrawide lens supported by a 50MP wide-angle lens and a 50MP Telephoto lens; the front camera remains the same 50MP lens.
If we talk about the battery life, the OPPO Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro are powered by a 6500mAh battery cell with 80W fast charging support. The Reno 15 Pro Mini packs a 6200mAh cell with the same 80W fast charging support.
The Reno 15 series runs on Android 16 with the ColorOS 16, with some expected changes with OPPO’s latest UI tweaks, AI-assisted camera smarts, and system-level optimisations for gaming and multitasking.
