Motorola has recently confirmed the launch date of its new ultra-slim Edge 70 smartphone in India on December 15, 2025, at 12 PM IST. After the launch, the device will be available immediately on Flipkart, Motorola’s official website, and leading retail stores.

Motorola Edge 70 Specifications
The Edge 70 will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset (4nm) and paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512 GB UFS 3.1 storage, aided by VC cooling to keep the phone cool while in use. At the same time, this new Motorola phone will come with a 6.7-inch 1.5K p-OLED panel with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, HDR 10+ support, and 4500 nits of peak brightness.
If we talk about the camera, the Edge 70 will pack a dual camera setup on the rear featuring a 50MP primary lens, an Ultrawide lens, and a third lens that will serve as a 3-in-1 light sensor. The selfie shooter is a 50MP lens.
Moving on, the global variant of the Motorola Edge 70 will have a 4800mAh battery. However, the Indian variant has a little boost in the battery capacity. It will feature a larger 5000mAh cell along with 68W wired TurboPower charging, 15W wireless charging, and support for reverse charging.
The main highlight about this phone, as claimed by the company, is that it has an ultra-slim profile. The phone is just 5.99mm thick and weighs 159g. At the same time, its durability is secured with an IP68 + IP69 rating for water and dust resistance. The device will be available in three colours — Lily Pad, Gadget Grey, and Bronze Green.
Lastly, it will feature Android 16 under Hello UI. On the connectivity front, the Edge 70 supports 5G across key bands, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC.
